Formerly, a partner at the business law firm of K.A. Rames, P.C., his training includes nearly a decade of service as a law clerk and appellate staff attorney in federal and territorial courts, and work with the Ford Foundation Study Group, whose members sat on the corporate Boards of CitiGroup, Pepsi, and DuPont Conoco. He was also a Patricia Roberts Harris Fellow with the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, a fellow with the 108th U.S. House of Representatives and has served on two gubernatorial transition teams.

Cameron M. McCord focuses her practice on corporate and individual Chapter 11 bankruptcy, business law, commercial dispute resolution, and litigation with an emphasis on debtor-creditor disputes, problem loans, and business restructurings.
She has served as lead counsel in over 85 corporate Chapter 11 bankruptcies and over 25 individual Chapter 11 bankruptcies, obtaining confirmed reorganization plans in the vast majority of those cases. In 2020, Cameron was appointed as a Sub Chapter V, Chapter 11 trustee in the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Georgia.
Cameron has also represented clients in countless adversary proceedings, and commercial litigation in both state and federal court.
Cameron also has experience in Chapter 15 Cross-Border insolvencies, filing 48 Chapter 15 cases in the Northern District of Georgia in 2023 and 2024.
Cameron fights for her clients’ interests and excels at finding practical solutions in even the toughest situations, including in complex litigation and cases involving fraud and fraudulent transfer claims.
